Connecting with other people in all different types of environments, and in various stages of life, is the biggest way we are able to live out one of our core values of Washington Heights Church: LOVE PEOPLE. We encourage you to explore the different group options we have, and find a group that you can connect with!
At Washington Heights Church we believe that a vital step in our spiritual growth is the formation of healthy relationships with other people. We have a variety of small group options to help you connect with other people. Whether you're a young mom, a retired empty nester, a newly-wed young couple, or simply have questions about why anyone would want to follow Jesus, you can connect to a group that fits you.
Sometimes it helps to build relationships with people who are experiencing the same things you are right now. Throughout the year, we offer groups focused on a variety of life issues such as dealing wisely with money, being a great mom, dad, wife or husband, dealing with hurts, habits, and hangups; and much more.
If you're new to faith, just checking it out, or coming back to church after some time away, Starting Point is a great first step. It is a five-week small group that provides an opportunity to explore faith in a very safe, non-threatening environment. In fact, no question is off-limits. As a result of this group you'll experience a taste of what it's like to be in community with other people on a similar journey.
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is a group where moms can find friendship, support, and purpose in this adventure called motherhood.
