Special Interest Groups
Grief Share
Loss of any kind is incredibly hard to manage. If you've lost a spouse, a child, family member, or friend, you've probably found that there are not many people who can understand the deep hurt you feel. Grief Share is a special interest seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close.
Divorce Care
Unless you've been there, it's hard to understand the hurt that comes from separation and divorce. DivorceCare is led by people who have previously been through divorce and successfully rebuilt their lives. We'll show you how to deal with the hurt caused by your separation or divorce.
Fresh Start
Built around an examination of biblical truth and a respectful comparison of other religious cultures, Fresh Start offers the tools needed to see faith and freedom in Christ in a whole new way. Fresh Start meets in person at the Washington Heights campus during the school year, or you can watch the series online for free, by yourself or with your Small Group.
Celebrate Recovery is a group-based program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. No matter what kind of issue you wrestle with, Celebrate Recovery is a safe place for you to begin your journey toward recovery. Celebrate Recovery happens every Tuesday evening at Washington Heights Church at 6:45pm, and new people are welcome every week.

Better moms can make a better world, right? MOPS is a group that meets twice a month (with a top-notch "Moppets" children's program provided) during the school year to help moms of preschool kids meet and follow Jesus. MOPS emphasizes real relationships with other moms so that no mom has to go at it alone.
We have two MOPS groups, one that meets every other Thursday morning and one that meets every other Friday morning at Washington Heights Church beginning usually in the first parts of September. The registration cost is $55 for the semester, plus $10 if you will be using the childcare. Contact for more information.
