Helping Guide Your Youth & Kids
Our baby rooms (0-6 and 6-12 months) are staffed with amazing volunteers to love and care for your little ones in a safe and comfortable environment. Our toddler rooms (1 and 2-year-olds) have their own rooms as well, separated by gender, with toys and activities just for them. They play, sing songs and color pictures of God’s beautiful creations! Meeting and following Jesus begins here!
Preschool kids have their own special place in WHC Kidz, starting in our exciting playroom with toys and interactive fun! After a quick water/bathroom break, they enjoy a Bible story, learning a Bible verse with motions, and energetic songs in Large Group. Their hour together ends in a Small Group that includes practical questions, prayer, activities, and coloring pages all to help them learn how to meet and follow Jesus!
Elementary Kids enjoy the benefits of age-appropriate Small and Large Group time each week. Through an interactive video message, along with live teaching, they learn a d Biblical concept/story, as well as a monthly Bible verse with an accompanying activity to help them remember it. Their worship songs, prayer time, games and activities all direct them toward a Biblically based Big Idea to help them meet and follow Jesus!
We call our special needs area at WHCA place where special needs children can meet and follow Jesus. This is done through a customized experience specific to their needs. Our volunteers are devoted to helping our WHC Friendz feel loved and included in our KIDZ ministry to meet and follow Jesus too!
WHC Kidz is honored to offer age-appropriate online church experience every week through YouTube videos and FREE mailers sent straight to your home! This is available whether you just missed a Sunday, OR you wish attend from the comfort of your home! These messages include the same Big Ideas that in person Kidz church is learning, Bible stories, cartoons videos and memory verses, as well as fun object lessons to help apply everything they learned! Meeting and following Jesus doesn’t just happen within the walls of WHC, our online church allows your family to take advantage of what everyone is learning here and brings it directly to your home!
The 456Zone is designed specifically for preteens. Your 4th-6th grader will feel right at home in our welcoming environment. This area provides Large Group games, live worship and age-appropriate Bible messages. They will also participate in Small Group time where they will have the opportunity to grow, ask hard questions, and pray together with our 456Zone leaders and volunteers. We have created a place where preteens can hang out, have fun, and most importantly, meet and follow Jesus as He leads and guides us.
This area is intentionally designed to be a fun, interactive and friendly environment specifically for your teenager! We provide live (teen involved) music every Sunday, along with an age-appropriate Bible teaching and message. We also have a full café offering all different kinds of drinks and snacks. Lastly, we don’t only meet on Sunday mornings! Your teen can also attend weekly activities, monthly events and yearly youth camps.
